Mission Statement

VCF is a campus ministry that reaches Dartmouth students from all backgrounds with the hope of Jesus Christ. Through authentic relationships, the study of The Bible, mentorship, and local church engagement, we seek to build a community that glorifies God and is known by our love for God and our love for all people.

Our vision is to love, serve, and equip Dartmouth students to grow in their faith, serve the Dartmouth community, and be prepared to live as Christ followers in their churches, jobs, families, and communities.

We believe that location and context affect the way the gospel is communicated and received. Therefore we are run by Dartmouth alumni and affiliates for Dartmouth students.

Vision Statement

For students to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  No longer do I call you servants for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. - John 15:15

For students to learn how to practically live out their faith. Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, β€œAll authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:16-20

To create a lasting gospel-centered community for believers and seekers. But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. - Deuteronomy 4:29

To help students establish Biblical foundations of faith to live by at Dartmouth and beyond. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

To inspire a life centered and grounded in prayer. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
